The club has an atmosphere of comfort and freedom everywhere you turn. The design is very simple but impressive at the same time. Backstage there are big tables by enormous windows, where people like to drink cups of excellent coffee. There are two great things about the coffee in Che: 1) it's real coffee (not the kind that most cafes offer); 2) coffee in Che is made in a coffee-machine which is designed in a retro style from 1961. A cigar-hall is located on the right-hand side. On the left-hand side you can order a glass of home-made wine, whisky, or a piece of fruit. And, of course, Ernesto "Che" Gevara looks on approvingly from his portraits on the walls. Not long ago paid tables were introduced. The club's regulars are a mixed lot, ranging from cowboys, Elvises and bikers. The best rock 'n roll groups, for example the Barbulators, appear here. Bengal lights are lit, people wish each other "Happy New Year" and toast to one another's health. The design of every table is in a unique style, where every table is individualized by being separated from other tables by a door, but in such a way that visitors can see everything that is going on around them. On the other hand, visitors are remote and separated with their friends while having more of a private party. The symbol of the club is a rabbit. The sound system is one of the best in St. Petersburg. Locals come to the Red Club to hear unusual and interesting musicians from abroad (LEGENDARY PINK DOTS, CAN members, TIGER LILLIES) as well as famous Russian bands, DJs and some experimental music too. The club is stylish, has big rooms and takes up two floors. The first floor contains a bar and large concert hall. On the second floor there is another bar, a dance-floor, and a comfortable cafe-type room where you can chat with friends. Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday there are R'n'B parties. The club is located in a red building that stands separately from the others. ►Back to top Revolution | Революция Centralny District M Sadovaya, Sennaya Ploshchad, Gostiny Dvor Revolution is one of the largest clubs in St. Petersburg. It is located on the sixth level of Apraksin Dvor. There are two big dance floors and the main musical direction of the club is electronic music. The fashionable youth of the city, famous dancers, and club people make up the majority of Revolution's patrons. On the second floor you can watch films or clips all night long. But Panorama (a hall with glass walls and a glass roof) is the main reason you would want to visit Revolution. The club is open until 6am, and occasionally holds concerts by intriguing groups. Also, you can amuse yourself with table hockey, the international game of all Dacha`s visitors. Sometimes the club holds surprisingly intense table hockey competitions. The real attraction of Dacha is its unusual visitors, interesting music, and the democratic atmosphere. Plus, the drinks are cheap and there is no cover. However, this club ia very small and cramped, which forces many guests to hang out on street - in summer a minor inconvenience, but uncomfortable in winter. Open 18:00 until the last customer leaves. How to get thereFrom metro Gostiny Dvor turn left and head along Gostiny Dvor to Dumskaya Ulitsa. Here, turn left again. The club is on the right hand side of the street, about two-thirds of the way down Dumskaya, and is easily identifiable by the throng of people that are at the entry. ►Back to topFish Fabrique Centralny District M Ploshchad Vosstaniya The club is part of the famous St. Petersburg cultural center, Pushkinskaya 10. Its extremely original design which creates a special, warm atmosphere was put together by a group of young, talanted artists called Rechniki. The interesting painting which you will see when you enter was done by the group AHE. The club features most types of underground music except loud, extreme, or hardcore styles. The club is rather small and can accommodate a maximum of about 100 people, but most of the space is taken up by tables. Concerts begin at 22:00 (except on Mon). At the bar you'll find drinks, snacks, unique honey beer (medovuha), and tea served in teapots. There is a large screen above the stage which plays music videos and movies. In the summer, there are additional tables outside under an awning. Beloved Russian musicians like E. Fedorov, Dedushki, and others often drop by for special performances. Open 15:00-6:00 Entrance 80-200R Ligovsky Prospect | Лиговский Проспект 53 From metro Ploshchad Vosstaniya walk down Ligovsky Prospect, away from Nevsky, and then go through the archway of building number 53. ►Back to topGriboedov | Грибоедов Модный Клуб Admiralteiskaya District M Ligovsky Prospect The "fashionable" Griboedov club opened in October of 1996. It's probably considered fashionable because of the well-known djs who frequently play there, or maybe because the founders of the club were from the the band 2 Samoljota. The club features popular bands (starting at 22:00), djs (coming on at 24:00), who mostly play different types of electronic music. The club also features art and modern photography exhibitions as well as theater performances. There is a little bar with five tables and a large variety of drinks, an area with comfortable pillows to relax on, and a dancefloor with a low ceiling and walls covered with carpets. There is face-control (decent dress required) at the entrance and bicycle parking is also available. Young people with money, bohemians, and foreigners all gather at the club to dance to good music or just sit and socialize at the noisy bar. Open 18:00-6:00 Entrance 100-200R. Tickets are sold at the entrance and tickets to some Friday concerts are sold at Titanic music shops. Voronezhskaya Ul. | Воронежская ул. 2A From Ligovsky Prospect metro: cross the street and go onto Konstantina Zaslonova (Константина Заслонова) Ulitsa, which diagonally intersects with Ligovsky. Walk along it until you reach Voronezhskaya Ulitsa and turn left. The club is located in an old bomb shelter. ►Back to topTunnel | Тoннель Petrogradsky District M Sportivnaya Tunnel is the perfect club for young people. It mostly plays electronic music, and here you can hear the best drum 'n bass, house, techno, and trance in St. Petersburg. Open 24:00-8:00 Entrance up to 400R Bombshelter on the Zverynskaya Street crossing | Бомбоубежище на пересечении Зверинской ул.
